555 Timer - Timer

A timer made of timers?

This was a submission to a 555 IC contest on Hackday.io. This functional timer uses almost entirely 555's to do the job. In the end it took 276 timers to make... a timer -_-

If I have to rewrite one more efficiency plotter I'm gonna lose it!

This is a python tool I started developing in 2024. Its goal is to act as an abstraction layer between an engineer and their equipment. So I can write one efficiency plotter that will work with any PSU and any DMM.

Current Sense Amplifier

Projects in support of projects.

I've periodically redesigned this project once every year or two, and oh boy, the last redesign was 2023. This widget amplifies the voltage drop from a small shunt resistor, and has good enough common mode rejection for all of my use cases.

Wireless Environmental Sensor, "GreeNode"

Project lost to history.

This project has been nicely mothballed. It uses an exceedingly cheap wireless transciever, with an Microchip ATTINY1616. I was able to get everything talking, but quickly found I was designing a solution looking for a problem.

Macropad - WEST Workshop

Project to hopefully inspire some young engineers.

I volunteered to help support a workshop hosted by Schneider in collaboration with WEST (Women in Engineering, Science & Technology). This project is being used as the reference “advanced” macropad throughout the workshop.
